The Society prides itself on the volunteer effort of its members since its formation in 1967. It recognises that continual growth is necessary to support its ongoing aims. This has necessitated the employment of key individuals to work within its museum to provide the best possible service to the visitor, who, of course, provide the income to support all the projects the Society undertakes.
